Josephine Baah, a native of Ghana (West Africa) and a U.S. citizen, is the Creative Director and CEO of Blissful Royal Creations, a Wedding/Event Planning and Design Boutique that provides wedding / event decor, floral and planning services. Josephine uses her passion for planning notable celebrations in Connecticut, across the U.S., Ghana and abroad. She has the knack for making occasions fun, fresh and free from stress.

Josephine expertly intertwines her clients’ personality, cultural background and style to fulfill personal requests for their special day. Her goal is to provide tailored elegance by designing, detailing and directing a picturesque occasion – from start to finish – fit for royalty.

Josephine is an Award-Winning Wedding/Event Planner and Designer and a trendsetter in the Wedding/Event Planning community. Her weddings and other events have gone viral on social media. They have been featured on various social media platforms, capturing over a million views. They include features in the Wedding Planner Magazine, the Munaluchi Bridal Magazine website and other high-profile wedding and event planning websites.

Josephine is a proud member of Delta Epsilon Tau Honor Society, a Certified Wedding Planner and a member of the Association of Bridal Consultants. Blissful Royal Creations has won The Knot Best of Weddings as CT and New England’s Premier Wedding/Event Planner, Designer and Decorator for several years. The University of Connecticut School of Business (UCONN) honored her business as CT’s renowned Black-owned businesses during Black History Month in 2020 and 2021. Blissful Royal Creations was also featured by the UCONN School Business and other publications as One of the Best Wedding Planners in Connecticut.

Her success story as an entrepreneur was featured in the Journal Inquirer Newspaper. She is also a guest educator for the School of Business at UCONN. She teaches students interested in pursuing business careers practical networking skills and shares her success story as an entrepreneur making a difference in the wedding industry.

Josephine was educated (across three continents) in the U.S., Dubai, China, Ghana, and Nigeria. She has an MBA in Management, International Business and Project Management from the UCONN. She also has a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Systems from UCONN. Additionally, she is a Board of Director and Co-Chair of the External Committee at Journey Home, a non-profit organization located in Hartford, Connecticut that strives to eradicate poverty and homelessness in Connecticut.
