Josephine Baah, a native of Ghana (West Africa) and a U.S. citizen, is the Creative Director and CEO of Blissful Royal Creations, a Wedding/Event Planning and Design Boutique that provides wedding decor, floral and planning. Josephine uses her passion for planning notable celebrations in Connecticut, across the US, Ghana and abroad. She has the knack for making occasions fun, fresh and free from stress.
Josephine expertly intertwines her clients’ personality, cultural background and style to design their personal branded requests for their special day. Her ultimate goal for her clients is to provide tailored elegance by designing, detailing and directing a picturesque occasion – from start to finish – fit for royalty.
Josephine is an Award-Winning Wedding/Event Planner and Designer and a trendsetter in the Wedding/Event Planning community. Her weddings have gone viral on social media and have been featured on various social media platforms, which has captioned over a million views, including a recent feature on the Munaluchi Bridal Magazine website.
Like a work of art, Josephine’s designs are known for the beauty and visual appeal customized for her clients and their guests. She pays special attention to every detail and partners with hand-picked vendors to ensure that the event design perfectly suits her client’s needs.
Josephine is a proud member of Delta Epsilon Tau Honor Society, a Certified Wedding Planner and a member of the Association of Bridal Consultants. Blissful Royal Creations has won The Knot Best of Weddings as CT and New England’s Premier Wedding /Event Planner, Designer and Decorator four years in a row. The University of Connecticut School of Business honored her business as CT’s renowned Black-owned businesses during Black History Month in 2020 and 2021.
Her success story as an entrepreneur was recently featured in the Journal Inquirer Newspaper. She is also a guest educator for the School of Business at the University of Connecticut teaching students interested in pursuing business careers practical networking skills and shares her success story as an entrepreneur making a difference in the Wedding industry.
Josephine was also educated in US, Dubai, China, Ghana, and Nigeria. She has an MBA in Management, International Business and Project Management from the University of Connecticut; she also has a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Systems also from the University of Connecticut. Additionally, she is a Board of Director at Journey Home, a non-profit organization located in CT that strives to eradicate poverty in Connecticut.
