Earrings are a wonderful way to add a little glamour and sparkle to your wedding dress but when it comes to choosing the right pair, there are a few points to consider:⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Do’s and Don’ts

  • Don’t wait till the last minute to choose your jewelry. Once you have chosen your dress it’s time to look for accessories and jewelry.
  • Do accessorize your bridesmaids. Bridesmaid dresses are usually made of satin and fairly simple in terms of design so adding a pair of sparkly earrings to their outfit will completely transform their outfit. Give them a choice of 3 pairs which are in line with the wedding theme.
  • Don’t over-accessorize. If your dress has a lot of lace, choose a pair of delicate pearl and diamante drop earrings and a bracelet made of similar materials. Also choose only 3 types of accessories: Statement earrings, hairpiece (preferably at the back of the head) and bracelet (no necklace with statement earrings unless the emphasis is on the jewelry).
  • Do go big (big can be detailed) especially if your hair is down. If you flick through bridal magazines, you will notice that most dress designers accessorize their models with statement earrings.
